Michael Scalere

Executive Producer / Director

Upon graduating from New York University, Michael began his professional career at HBO writing, producing and directing promos for the Creative Services department where he garnered some attention with the HBO Zone Booth. After HBO, Michael landed a Senior Producer job at All True Networks, a budding production company and viral video web site. There, he gained valuable insight into producing content for the web.

After Alltrue, Michael accepted a position at The History Channel where he eventually became the Creative Director in charge of On-Air Promotions within the Marketing department. It was here that Michael gained a broader perspective of production as it pertained to marketing. Here also, Michael was able to cut his chops as a director, taking the helm of theatrical and long form interstitial spots.

Continuing his growth, Michael made a move to the Programming and Production department seizing an opportunity he’s always held dear, to create original documentary content for the web.

Michael founded Heavily Caffeinated in 2007 as a company dedicated to both marketing and content production both for television and the web.
